Object:
Sandqvist 111, dark nebula in Vela
Notes:

A dense dark nebula embedded in the larger emission nebula ESO 210-6A. It contains a spectacular Herbig Haro outflow called HH 46-7, which is probably the most well known and studied southern Herbig Haro object. A few hours of Ha would reveal more nebulosity and details. To the left is the smaller dark nebula Sandqvist 112. The region also includes the dark nebula TGU H1713, which includes the small yellow reflection nebula vdBH16.
